Cooking Bacon

I have found that the best way to prepare bacon is to bake it.  Take a baking sheet with sides (I cover mine with foil for easy clean-up) and place the bacon on it in a single layer.  Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until it reaches the desired crispiness.  I cook the entire package and then freeze the extra to use in other dishes.  You can drain the grease into a jar and put it in the refrigerator for later use.  I prefer this method of cooking bacon as it cooks consistently, it doesn’t splatter grease all over like when you fry bacon or microwave it, and it is easy clean-up.
