Stores

Some of my favorite stores for bargain shopping include:

Target: Look for items on sale or on clearance, use digital and paper coupons, take advantage of Target’s savings program called “Circle”.  (It use to be called Cartwheel.)  In some cases, you may even be able to get a Target gift card if you meet the criteria for their specific promotions.

Dollar General: Many times Dollar General has sales where they have clearance items and will also do additional savings off of the clearance price. So a $5 item may be on clearance for $4 with an additional 50% off. This will make the $5 item only $2.00.   Then you may have a manufacturer coupon for $2.00 and the item becomes free.

Kohls: It is fun to get items on sale, then to use a Kohl’s coupon along with getting Kohl’s cash for making a certain dollar amount purchase. For example, a $75 item may be on sale for $70 and you may have a 20% off Kohl’s coupon that makes it $56 for the item. Then you may be eligible for what is called “Kohl’s Cash” and get $10 of Kohl’s cash to use at a future purchase. This makes the $75 item end up being $46.

HyVee Grocery Store: Sometimes HyVee discounts products or they may have gotten a good price for a product and they send the savings on to their customers. When you get these deals, it is even better when you have a manufacturer coupon that you can also use.
